Welcome to Squirrels,

 

The children in this class are in Year 1 & 2. Our Teacher is Ms Barnett and our Teaching Assistants are Mrs Ledley and Mrs Melville. On Monday and Friday afternoons our class is taught by Mrs Gifford. We are very fortunate to have a specialist P.E. teacher (Mrs Horton) to teach us P.E. on Mondays and Friday. We also have a dedicated time in our outdoor learning environment at least once per week when we go to Muddy Monday and Welly Wednesdays!

 

We have a lovely big classroom which has opportunities for play based learning and adult lead activities. We are learning how to be independent learners and using our classroom resources to extend our understanding.  Our learning takes place on a two year cycle and includes themes such as Wildlife, Africa, Our School and local area, Toys, Kings and Queens plus many more.
